What We Use
Our website uses the Google Translate tool to help our website be viewed in many languages.
Please keep in mind that since this is an online translation tool, the translation may be literal and not consistent with the true site meaning.
To Install the Google Toolbar (with Translation)
Note: These instructions should be viewed as general guidelines as different browsers and software configurations vary.
1. Click on this link to get the installation page
2. You should see a screen that looks like below
3. Click "Install Google Toolbar". From this point onward, you will generally answer in the affirmative, clicking such options as "run, open, yes, ok, etc".
4. Click the "Accept and Download". Then a pop up should appear-click Run.
5. When the Install is successful, you should see the toolbar in your browser at the top. It will look something like the following, you may need to restart your browser.
6. You may now use the Google toolbar to translate web pages.
Note: If you are having trouble installing this product, it is likely due to a pop-up blocker or security software. You should temporarily disable these and try again.
Using the Google Toolbar to Translate a Web Page
1. Navigate to the website page you wish to translate, such as www.dodgecity.org or www.dodgecity.org/index.aspx?nid=66
2. In your Google Toolbar, click the "Translate" button
3. Just below the tool bars you should see a pop-up that asks you what language the current page is in. After confirming the language, click translate on the far right of the bar
4. On the next pop-up select what language you want to translate to by selecting from the pull-down menu
5. You should see that the web page has been translated into the selected language
